Active Region 11476 is shown in the above image at full resolution. Notice the granualtion detail and fine filamentary structure of the penumbra. Astonishing to comprehend that each of the granuales shown in this image average about 1500 km in size. At the time of this image AR 1476 was 12°E and 10°N of the central meridian of 196° longitude.
